Periodontitis is an inflammation of the periodontium caused by bacteria. Bleeding gums, bad breath, receding gums and the formation of gum pockets are among the typical early symptoms. If periodontitis is not treated, the disease progresses to progressive bone loss and possible tooth loss as a result.

In severe cases of periodontitis, drug therapy support may be necessary. A microbiological germ determination allows us to carry out a targeted antibiotic therapy.
In the case of advanced periodontitis, we additionally offer a spectrum of surgical measures. These include, for example, corrections of the soft tissue to restore the function and esthetics of the gums as well as the filling of bone defects with bone substitute material.
In order to achieve lasting therapeutic success, we accompany and support you with regular follow-up treatments (findings control/prophylaxis).
